About This Pipe
Chacom's Montmartre series takes its name from a district in Paris, the moniker for which is drawn from a hill in the same region. Upon said hill sits the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, dominating the landscape with a display of Romano-Byzantine architecture. What does this all have to do with Chacom's Montmartre series? Palette-wise, I'd say not much, though the accent which characterizes the stem's base of this line does call to mind the look of the Basilica's central dome. Additionally, it promotes a sense of profound elegance.
