About This Pipe
Danish artisan Erik Nørding has been carving pipes since the 1960s, building a formidable reputation as a leader in the Danish Fancy Freehand movement, and his instantly recognizable style is characterized by organic shaping and wild finishing techniques. Nørding's Spinner series showcases the Danish brand's signature Freehand-inspired style, distinguished by a bright metallic accent band at the shank end. Each band features an inner ring that spins freely in place, adding a distinctive detail that engages both the eye and the hand, as seen in this partially rusticated example.
