About This Pipe
Dated back to 1911, the Ardor marque is a long-lasting family business that was re-established in 1974 by the father-son duo Angelo and Dorelio Rovero. After Angelo's passing in 1999, Dorelio took over the business alongside Damino and Dimitri, the next generation of Rovera craftsmen. This eye-catching Billiard is a fine example of the unique design capabilities of the Ardor workshop. The shape appears fluid, even for a straight pipe, thanks to the concave rim and plump, shimmering stem. The concave design of the rim aids in tobacco packing and immediately draws attention to the bowl. The sturdy, straight shank connects to the silver mount of the Ninfea series, with its glimmering, stylized format adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design. The stummel features a craggy sandblast finish and a warm auburn stain, which provides a nice contrast to the stem's shimmering pale hues.
