Roma (111 EX) (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

A classically inclined, deep-chambered rendition of the timeless Billiard, Savinelli's "111 EX" is a bold take on the shape-chart standard and is proudly Italian in its execution, boasting even larger proportions than its KS size variant. The towering bowl commands much of the shape's visual weight, paired to a comparatively slimmer, round shank and tapered mouthpiece. The "111" is closely related to the marque's "104" Billiard, with the primary difference being that this "111 EX" is bigger and considerably more muscular throughout. Such features are ideal for fans of traditional pipe designs who also prefer an arrangement that offers house pipe-like chamber depth for longer smokes and a substantial presence in hand.

It's only fitting that one of Italy's most historic and esteemed pipe manufacturers would devote a line to one of the country's most celebrated cities: Rome. From Antiquity and empire to Renaissance and cultural center, the Italian capital tells the story of millennia through its architecture, statues, piazzas, and fountains. Savinelli's Roma series pays tribute to this history, presenting a dark rustication, accented with a trim, brass ring at the base of the vulcanite stem. The lighter-stained, smooth-polished rim echoes that elegant contrast, and the mouthpiece trades the Italian marque's usual coat of arms logo for one emblazoned with an "R," distinguishing the Rome-inspired line.
