About This Pipe
Founded in 1848 by Karl Ellenberger and Carl August Zeiner, Vauen is Germany's oldest pipe factory and the birthplace of the 9mm pipe filter — an innovation that has since become standard across most of the marque's designs. Created in collaboration with esteemed designer Felix Hoffman, Vauen's Champagne series draws inspiration from the shape of a champagne cork, with its Cauldron-esque bowl featuring a flared rim, broad base, and stout build reflective of that inspiration. This particular example is presented in a sandblasted finish and distinguished by a lengthy metallic accent along the shank.
-Davin HyltonNote: While most of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
