Cornell & Diehl - Granulated Perique 2oz
Smells weird, smokes wonderful
Immediately after opening the tin, I was hit by a strange smell, like some rotten things but with a hint of fragrance. The color is not pitch black like the image shown on the website, it's a dark brown, the color in the image of ribbon cut version C&D perique is more accurate. I tried some straight and it smokes nothing(bad) like it smelled, it's the spicy taste in Va/Per flakes in pure form. (I'm not experienced enough to describe it in detail...) The nicotine is very strong. Since I didn't get any of this weird smell from Va/Per flakes' tin note, I think they all have some casing or topping to mitigate it, am I crazy?
