A Great Intro to English Blends
If you’re looking to venture into English blends, start here. A light, sweet English that is reminiscent of a good Islay scotch. The brown cavendish provides a nice, well-rounded base that exudes lovely notes of caramel, honey, and figs and makes for a pleasing room note. The Orientals add a spicy, peppery kick that balances well with the brown cavendish. Finally, Latakia… in this case, certainly not overdone. It adds a gentle hint of peat, pine, wood fire, and leather to round out the blend. The tobacco is well packaged and cut with fine ribbons. Would recommend drying before smoking at it was a little moist in the tin. Smokes cool and dry. Overall, a great English that I will keep going back to.
