Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening
Well-balanced aromatic - a must-have for cooler nights!
This is one of my favorite aromatics and it smokes well in all my pipes, including a small meerschaum that can over-dry the smoke of others. This is a must-try, and IMHO a must-have for cooler evenings. It pairs especially well with a maple cream foam cold brew!

Cornell & Diehl - Atlas Balkan
I love English/Balkan blends, but this one is too raw
I finally found a blend that goes too far into the English/Balkan spectrum :-) and in fact, it's the only one of 20 blends I own that I don't enjoy. Mine came in a plastic bag, much too dry, with a bag note of dirt, peat and manure. I've tried like heck to enjoy this tobacco, but the latakia is right in your face, the burley tries to make up for it with a strong Nic hit, and the perique adds spice without tempering anything. I'm going to jar most of what I have and age it for 1-2 years to see if I can tame this beast. Some others will get mixed with dark fired Kentucky and Virginias to see if I can add "midrange" to the smoke. If you want to see where the far side of English is on your tongue, this is the one.

Arango - Balkan Supreme
Solid latakia-forward blend
I'm a big fan of latakia-forward blends, and Balkan Supreme doesn't disappoint. Mine arrived in a plastic bag with the perfect humidity level, and personally I think it smokes better in briar than meerschaum, but maybe that's just me. I still like Presbyterian better, but this one is very close, and less expensive too!
