A Classic for a Reason
I liken Captain Black to a good, ice-cold Bud Light. It isn't adventurous, it isn't the most glamorous option out there, but it's never going to disappoint. I feel it gets unfairly maligned as "basic" or "entry-level" for its broad appeal. Sometimes, the wisdom of the masses is right - classics are classic for a reason, and you won't be found wanting with the Captain. A delightfully mellow room note of vanilla and dates, with a fruity, peppery brightness that shines as you go down the bowl. Perfect for a lazy Sunday morning relaxing on the porch in the ol' rocking chair, and pairs great with a nice cup of light roast coffee. Call your dad and let him know you love him.
