Cornell & Diehl - Five O'Clock Shadow 8oz
Let it get some time in the Cellar
Amazing! Picked up 8oz from an estate sale dated 2016. I am a huge fan of KDF. Aged blend is Deep, rich, notes of plums, chocolate, red wine, deep earthy spice. The nose tickle is more subtle, I expect from the age of the tin. Great, Great, amazing blend.
Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 16oz
My Introduction to Pipes
Decided I had waited long enough to get into pipe tobacco. Went into a local store, and the guy there helped me pick out a pipe, and recommended about 4 different blends. This being one of them. The smell out of the tin was very intriguing, just the right amount of tobacco and toppings. Very natural in flavor. The maple is awesome and subtle enough to not overpower the blend. Great way to get into pipesmoking!
Cornell & Diehl - Briar Fox 2oz
My all time fav Burley blend
I find myself reaching for this more often than I imagined I would. Blew through my tin in less than a month. Thinking about going up a tin size to the 8oz or really go big and get the brick.
Cornell & Diehl - Midnight Orchard 2oz
Fantastic!
While I missed the sale here on the site, my local pipe shop had stock and I picked up 2. One to try now, and 1 to cellar for later. Tried it with a friend. Very balanced. Great VaPer with a subtle topping. Can catch the citrus, and love the room note when the breeze drifts back my way!
Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Bourbon Cask 2oz
Waited 75 minutes in Que
Got my tins! Didn't rush. Got some other stuff as well. Great experience. Thanks smoking pipes. Will update when I get the tins and try it for the first time. This is my first sunbear - so very curious!
