Ashton - Rainy Day 50g
Always On Hand
While this tobacco doesn’t make my top five, it is still up high in my estimation. It is a smooth smoke while balancing citrus and a mild nuttiness. I have this on hand and have always been pleased whenever I puff a bowl. It happens to often come to mind on a rainy day, and so I often smoke it according to its name.
Orlik - Golden Sliced 50g
Wow! Buy some of this!
I’ve been smoking a pipe for about a year. I had to see what this blend was about since EVERYONE was going on about. I opened a fresh tin and tried it first without any drying time. Since I got 50g I figured I could try it in different stages of dryness so started off fresh out of the tin. I smoked it in a Nording “Eric the Red” billiard. So amazing. Smooth. Creamy. Smoked to the bottom without hardly any moisture. This lives up to the hype. The only downside is that I waited so long to try it.
Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Best Cherry Out There
I got into pipe smoking in part out of memories of my dad and uncles smoking pipes around the campfire when I was young! Always loved that smell. And when I encountered Cult Blood Red Moon I was teleported back. Prominent cherry without being cough syrupy. Not cloying but subtle. My favorite cherry and one of the only tobaccos I always have on hand. Treat yourself!
Three Nuns - Three Nuns 1.75oz
My Current Favorite
I’m new to the pipe, but have figured out that I prefer Virginias. I find the tin notes to have a slight vinegar that doesn’t carry over to the smoke notes. I let it dry a bit before packing it, and it burns great. I am trying everything, but Three Nuns is my current fav. Enjoy!!
