What’s not to love?
Stumbled upon this when I was getting back into pipe smoking, probably because it’s a hard one to miss. It’s like Shane says it the video: this is a benchmark. And like Bryan’s review, it’s the tobacco I’d bring with me on a desert island. The flavor remained mostly consistent throughout, but there’s nothing to be missed with this tobacco. It’s got some spice, some sweetness, some roundness… that just delivers and keeps you coming back for more. It tastes like what tobacco should taste like for my preferences. I like some Vitamin N, and it’s got just enough to not leave you like a vampire without blood. The French inhale is mostly smooth but just strong enough to be sensational. It’s damn cold in my neck of the woods right now, but I just fired up the last bit of my bowl indoors after the wife went to bed. I’ll face the repercussions for such a great tobacco. I just ordered 3 more tins. Going to cellar 2 and give my buddy who enjoys the occasional cigar a tin for a belated birthday gift.

A tasty companion
I recently restarted my pipe smoking journey, and this was a wonderful tobacco to come back to. It was the first smoke I had coming back, and I had a little tongue bite the first time. The next sessions were a delight, and it was a perfect companion as I sat on my porch swing and did some wood carving.
