Cornell & Diehl - Bayou Morning
A morning standard
One of my regular rotation "1st of the day" blends. I love this - and Exclusive - because the Perique is so tasty, but it is still all about the VA. I rarely even notice nic content and this blend is no exception, so I do not find it is strong as others have mentioned. Could easily be an all-day smoke for me. The buttered raisin bread toast (both tin note and in the smoke) are delightful.

A cigar lover's pipe tobacco for sure
I did not expect such a refined blend, but man was I pleasantly surprised. Billows of smoke, riiich strong dark flavors. Not TOO woody, not TOO peppery, not at all edge-y. Just smooth goodness. I love VA and VA-Per blends, and have many favs with condimental use of DFK, but I also really like Nicaraguan cigars. This one-of-a-kind pipe tobacco satisfies both the pipe and cigar smoker in me - in spades.
