I've been smoking this as my go-to blend since it first came out in Aug. 2023 if I'm not mistaken. That first run was excellent and when I bought the October run...not as good but still a good smoke. I like the crumble cake and the wife likes the aroma and that's a plus. It's a smooth, no bite blend that burns to ash in the right pipes. I have been switching between DY, 40th Anniversary and Black Woods Flake. I prefer DY and have put some extra in storage but wish I had more of that introduction blend.

Bad Design
Great idea, great company and I ordered two. Result was my thumb would either slip off the very small thumb rest that keeps the flame burning or got caught by the striker wheel. As a result of the slips, I was able to light the pipe about every third to fifth time. Your thumb is also close to the flame and can get scorched from time to time. I tossed them both in a drawer.
