Excellent (Noob Review)
I started smoking pipes in the Summer of 2016, so my experience is extremely limited. Nevertheless, I will share my experience with you. First Impressions: Receiving this tin is pretty exciting. Hats off to Larsen's marketing, the really have come up with a sexy tin. The gold lettering pops out at you and you instantly think "Quality". Opening: I was shocked when I opened the tin and there was no coffee filter??? In its place, an almost resealable, sealed foil bag (very classy). After carefully opening the foil, I was wonderfully assaulted with earthy smells (almost a nutty smell, but not quite). The ribbon cut is uniform (no large pieces and very little shake at the bottom). The tobacco was a little too wet for my liking, but that was quickly taking care of by letting sit on my mat for about 45 minutes. Smoking: My first bowl took three charring lights, but once it got going, it got going. I had to slow myself down a little smoking this one, it burned hot once it got going, but I got a rhythm and I was off. Room Note was surprisingly flat for such a great Tin Note. Taste was outstanding, very little bite, not too strong, but very flavorful. Same taste all the the way through the bowl. After about and hour and a half, I decided to call is quits. Clean up was typical. Overview: Very nice, will be ordering some more as soon as I'm done with this tin.
