Enjoyable, Interesting & Complex
The shag cut packs easily and allows one to obtain a tighter pack. The Virginia provides a slight, mild sweetness throughout the entire bowl. There is a meaty, full mouth feel quality providing a decent amount of smoke, even while sipping this tobacco If you want a blast of spice, retrohale! The second half of the bowl and between puffs, I was getting a dark red cherry / plummy after taste. Thanks Greg, an absolute pleasure to smoke. Finally, Penny Farthing pairs wonderfully with a dram of Michter's Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon!
