We've shared out thoughts on IPSD over the years. From what brought us to pipe smoking, what the community means to us, and even the sounds we associate with the hobby. For 2018 though, we wanted to hear from our customers. Too that end we asked you to send us photos of what you'd be doing for IPSD, and boy, did you deliver.
International Pipe Smoking Day is such a special thing — an entire day dedicated solely to the enjoyment of briar and leaf. Since its introduction back in 2008, pipe smokers from all around the globe have come together on February 20th to celebrate this most unique of holidays, and it's all because of you. IPSD was born from your passion, your enthusiasm, your drive to make this hobby so much more: a link to the past, to tradition, to our roots. And we can't thank you enough for that, for making pipe smoking a living, breathing community spanning multiple generations and all walks of life.

What a great video with even greater selection of awesome pipes.
I believe I saw a few "Fat Bobs" and Savinelli's 320 KSs along with Ardore.. :)
And it's nice to observe one collective quality in all pipe smokers featured: a great self-assurance with a ton of confidence! I guess it's a prerequisite to be a pipe smoker (or is it the other way around and it comes once you pick up a pipe?) :)
Anyway, thanks to those, who put this video together -- a really nice watch.
I'm an old Marine and a Vietnam veteran. The last couple of years I've heard several people say to me, "Thank you for your service." Those thank yous and my pipes keep me going. For me, smoking my pipe is my connection with the few good parts left on this earth.
