A Little About The Brand:
Eduardo Fernández dreamed of growing the best tobacco in the world, a tobacco that showcased the best qualities of Cuban cigars. In 1998, Fernández set this dream in motion by assembling a team of former Cubatabaco agronomists, experts who had been involved in Cuba's peak cigar era. Utilizing traditional Cuban methods and the most fertile growing regions of Nicaragua, Eduardo and his team realized his dream and introduced one of the most respected tobaccos in the industry: Aganorsa.
At first, Aganorsa acted as the tobacco supplier of Casa Fernández, but in 2018, Eduardo and his son, Max, adopted the Aganorsa name into their cigar lines, rebranding Casa Fernández as Aganorsa Leaf — continuing their original blends while also releasing new cigars.
All of Aganorsa Leaf's series use only Fernández's prestigious Aganorsa tobaccos, esteemed for their quality and Cuban profile, and testify to the company's vertical, self-sufficient structure — from seed to ash, every aspect is curated by the Fernández family and kept in-house to ensure the highest standards.
Comments
Aganorsa Leaf/Casa Fernandez cigars are killer. Of course, they manufacture the cigars for some of the most highly regarded brands, but their own lines tend to be very special themselves. The prices are very attractive for the quality. My favorites are the Signature Selection and the regular Miami line. Need to try the Miami Anniversario versions.
