Top 5 Best-Selling Lampe Berger Oils

Aromas are a touchy topic. What might be fragrant and comforting to one person may appear as pungent to another, so sensitivity and personal preferences are important considerations. Not everyone is a fan of pipes' and cigars' room notes, especially indoors. In order to keep peace, we offer a multitude of home fragrances, from smokers'candles to scented oils, and Lampe Berger's diffusing system is among the most efficient and effective. While candles offer quick and convenient odor elimination, their lifespan requires frequent replacement. By contrast, Lampe Berger's diffuser lamps are sustainable and stylish, needing only oil replenishing once low. Moreover, the French brand's oils not only emit satisfying aromas, they work to purify the air as well.

Pharmacist Maurice Berger founded Lampe Berger in Paris in 1898 while studying the beneficial effects of catalytic combustion. He subsequently filed a patent for a "new lamp system for purifying the air," and Lampe Berger was born. Although originally used in the medical world for its antibacterial properties, the brand's popularity was elevated when its aromas garnered the interest of designers such as Lalique, Galle, and Baccarat.

These sophisticated lamps last longer and are more sustainable than the average smoker's candles, filling entire rooms with transcendental, purifying, and homeopathic scents and doubling as works of art. Each lamp comes complete with a wick attached to the system's stone burner, a funnel for spill-proof oil refilling, a diffuser cap that protects the burner when dispensing the fragrance, and simple, detailed instructions. Lampe Berger's scented or unscented oils are available separately.

Helpful directions for maximizing your lamp:

  1. Fill the lamp two-thirds full with your choice of Lampe Berger fragrances.
  2. Submerge the wick and allow it to soak in the lamp for about 20 minutes before first-time use.
  3. Light the burner for two-three minutes.
  4. Blow out the flame and place the diffuser over the burner.
  5. Let the fragrance dispense for 30-60 minutes.
  6. Place the stopper on the top to stop diffusing when the air is nicely fragrant.

Our selection of stylish lamps include Immersion Lamps in green and in grey, the circular design on front and back evoking images of swirling water. Lampe Berger's Round Lamps are offered in modern black and taupe colors, the voluptuous base lending a softness to the contemporary aesthetic, and Oval Lamps can be found in alluring blue and plum colors.

With 17 distinct scents on-site, it may be difficult to choose, so we've compiled the five best-selling Lampe Berger oils below for helpful consideration.

Top 5 best-selling Lampe Berger scents:

1. Ocean Breeze

Characterized by notes of white musk, warm amber, and exotic woods, Lampe Berger's Ocean Breeze oil wicks away obtrusive odors, replacing them with a fresh, aquatic scent that calls to mind warm sun, cool sea sprays, and sea winds.

Available in 500ml and 1,000ml bottles.

2. Charleston

A warm, welcoming fragrance, Lampe Berger's Charleston oil evokes the atmosphere of this historic port city with aromas from far-away lands. Hints of cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg are further elevated by deeper notes of exotic ylang ylang, woodsy teak, amber, and white musk for a singular ambiance.

Available in 500ml and 1,000ml bottles

3. So Neutral

Ideal for eliminating odors without adding additional fragrance, Lampe Berger's So Neutral oil is a purifying solution that can be used by itself or together with any of the Maison's other popular scents as a dillutor. This particular oil is recommended for use between fragrances (should you decide to swap) and can extend the life of your lamp.

Available in 500ml and 1,000ml bottles

4. Atlantic Tide

Another popular aquatic scent, Lampe Berger's Atlantic Tide home fragrance transports the ocean air to your home with a rich aroma of white musk, moss, and seaweed, elevated by subtly floral notes of rose, sage, and a touch of pine.

Available in 500ml and 1,000ml bottles

5. Fresh Linen

A clean, energizing scent evocative of new beginnings, Lampe Berger's Fresh Linen oil is the perfect fragrance for reinvigorating your home in preparation for spring. Mentholated eucalyptus awakens notes of lavender and violet, those brighter tones deepened by a hint of woodsy pine, warm sandalwood, and white musk, and complemented by the tart, crisp scent of fresh apples.

Available in 500ml and 1,000ml bottles

Smokingpipes offers several alternatives to combat and eliminate odors. Candles can be a good option and are a bit more traditional, but Lampe Berger products offer a more sustainable, room-filling solution. The lamps are a decorative, modern alternative and will enhance any environment with fragrant sophistication and elegance.

" 2. Submerge the wick and allow it to soak in the lamp for about 20 minutes before first-time use."I've tried this with a new wick, even letting it soak overnight. Even so, the wick will not catch fire.

@Tom P, sometimes I have to hold the flame to the burner for longer than one would expect from, say, a candle wick or something similar. The cloth wick absorbs the oil, which them permeates the stone burner at the end. It's actually the stone that is being lit, and like I said, it can take longer to catch flame than expected. Let me know if that makes sense and helps at all!

I was a Pipe Smoker years ago steady for about 8 years. The thing is though since I just started back up again I don’t ever remember my house , car, and my cloths smelling bad like an ash tray ?? I remembered all these just having a nice after Pipe Smell that I was always complemented on how these things smelled just as good as when I was smoking my Pipe. Now ( Even Smoking The Same Blends ) my House, Car, And myself Smell Like Ashes ! So I read in a Pipers article how “Lamp Berger Lamps” Work So Great at removing and purifying the air after Smoking your Pipe that I ordered one and am expecting it to arrive any day now. So I really hope it lives up to its Reputation?? Pastor Rick.
