Il Ceppo Partially Sandblasted Panel Bent Dublin with Silver Band (3) Tobacco Pipe

The juxtaposition of fluid curves with hard angles in conjunction with absolutely stunning grain make this a gorgeous Il Ceppo freehand. Essentially a paneled dublin, this pipe retains a fluid appearance through the gentle arc of the shank being carried into the flat front panel. With the exception of the sandblasted shank, the grain, which graces the surfaces of bowl walls, is impressive to say the least -- unerringly regular with barely any washout. Anchored by tight birdseye on the bowl rim and base, this piece is among the most beautifully grained 3 grades I have seen to date. Completed with elegant silver work on the shank and stem, this piece is a must have for the collector of high grade Italian pipes.
