About This Pipe
The good folks at Castello have been doing a number of interesting things with the Pi series of late. The Pi series (indicated on the pipe by π, unsurprisingly) denotes Castello's mix of rustication and smooth, or sandblasting and smooth. With this piece, Castello has gone for a wax drip style, with strands of smooth melting down from the rim onto the rusticated bowl. The color combinations are wonderful too, with the briar army mount matching the smooth strands and rim, as does the smooth strip on the bottom of the shank for the nomenclature.
