About This Pipe
This batch of Cavicchi briars contains a couple minimalist/modern beauties, and this sandblasted cherrywood is very much one of them. The form is, for all it's substantial volume, wonderfully elegant, not to mention much easier in hand than all those straight, clean lines might lead you to believe. And the sandblast? The sandblast is perfect, from foot to rim an exquisite display of ultra-fine ring grain and vertical grain both, with soft, cloudy birdseye filling up the pale, smooth-polished rim.
