About This Pipe
This long, long stemmed Shell Briar is an exercise in slender beauty. You might expect such length of stem and shank to render the composition awkward, yet the careful set, proportions, and lines of the bowl bring it all into a graceful balance. The willowy, gracile form is made to look all the trimmer in the jet-black finish of the Shell briar, and, of course, a good bit of light ring grain doesn't hurt any either.
