About This Pipe
There's another Bruyere Quaint of this same year, bearing a remarkably similar theme, currently still up on offer, and looking at the two side-by-side I can't help but wonder if they weren't originally made together. The sizing is different, this being a Group 4 while the other is a Group 5, the latter has a flattened rim whereas this one is rounded-off, and the degree of bend isn't the same; yet the bowls are nearly identical, as are the heels, the transitions, as well as the shaping of the stems, if not their positions, are nearly identical.
