About This Pipe
Peterson's '408': I have heard this pipe described as both a classic English Apple and an English Author shape, but as it has been pointed out before by other folks around here, the shape is really something of a hybrid of the two. Nevertheless, this example is rather fetching, banded with hallmarked silver, stained in dark, smoky orange and fitted with the amber colored stem that is indicative of the Rosslare Classic series.
