About This Pipe
The Supreme series occupies a very special place in Peterson's pantheon of pipe finishes. Only the finest, cleanest bowls with the best grain make the cut to bear the Supreme stamp. This is amply indicated by the superb birdseye on both sides of the bowl on this 'XL339' and the superb, wispy, fine cross grain in between. The Supreme stain, a very light reddish-orange, contrasts the beautiful grain just enough to bring it to the fore, giving the pipe a classic elegance that, when paired with the sterling silver band, is quite extraordinary.
