About This Pipe
Inspired by the pipe that appeared in "Donna Nuda. ", which was painted by the master in 1968, this 27th entry of the Picta Picasso series required Giancarlo Guidi make use of finely corrugated, white caseine to simulate the albatross bone that was needed to stay faithful to the original form and still keep his freedom (something that we are all thankful for). This pipe boasts a grain that is wonderfully dense and regular, sterling silver, as well as an undeniable sense of stepping back in time. The is only the second Picta Picasso 27 that we have ever seen, the first in a smooth finish.
