About This Pipe
OK. I have been clearly playing World of Warcraft too much lately. My first thought, upon initially handling this marvelously martial Crown 300 freehand, was "That has to be at least a level 70 weapon, better start saving up those 'pelts & gelts'!". With the 300 series pipes, one has moved as high as one can in a Winslow Crown series, the next step is "Collector". From my general observation, when one moves from a 300 to a Collector, the grain doesn't take a huge leap in quality (take a look at this 300, really, how much better could the grain get?). The shapes merely shift to the far more constrained interpretations of the Danish neo-classics. This has to be one of my personal all-time favorite Crown series briars.
