About This Cigar
The act of apostasy defines an event wherein one refuses to follow or obey the tenets of a faith or religious organization, the commission of which then makes one an apostate. Apostate Cigars was founded in 2021 by Kendrick Woolstenhulme and Brandon Overson, both former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, who named their company in reference to the Mormon stricture of abstaining from tobacco. Founded in rebellion, Apostate Cigars aims to blend the traditional with the unorthodox, creating unique cigars that are as rich with flavor as they are with story.
The Lost Pages are a reference to the original manuscript pages of what is said to be the translation of the Book of Lehi. The blend features a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper and a filler blend that is composed of short-filler that is the trimmings of the core blends Apostate offers. The cigars are made at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, and come in a "book" of 100 cigarillos, or as they reference on the box, "tobacconist tales." Enjoy the short story each of these provides in roughly 30 minutes or less.
