Following Long Live the King, The King Is Dead, and Long Live the Queen, Caldwell introduces the next chapter with The Queen Is Dead. Blended by Robert Caldwell and handcrafted at Tabacalera William Ventura, it features an aged Habano Dos Mil wrapper over a Sumatran binder, with aged Dominican Corojo, Habano, and Criollo tobaccos in the filler. The blend opens with notes of pepper, gradually developing a nutty sweetness as the pepper builds before finishing with hints of spice. Medium-bodied and balanced throughout, The Queen Is Dead was individually developed for each of the line's five sizes to capture every facet of the cigar's personality, presented here in the "Bloodroot" Lancero vitola.
