After many years as a successful Minnesotan cigar retailer, Jeff Haugen was inspired to launch a cigar brand centered around premium blends, innovation, and integrity — and thus, Crux Cigars was born. Leveraging his industry contacts, Haugen traveled to Nicaragua and immersed himself in every stage of the production process, learning the nuances of cigar making, from harvest to finished product.

In 2014, Crux shipped its first cigars, delivering a lineup that reflected its founder’s studious attention to detail, deep commitment to quality, and customer-focused approach. Since then, the brand has grown into a respected name in the premium cigar world, partnering with celebrated Nicaraguan factories and curating a portfolio of high-quality blends.
