Nica Rustica Connecticut Shade Toro Cigar (6 x 50)

As the name suggests, Drew Estate's Nica Rustica is designed to be a rugged, no-nonsense cigar that showcases the boldness of pure Nicaraguan tobacco and pays homage to the Nicaraguan people and their culture — going so far as to adorn the Rustica's packaging with an image of El Brujito, or "Witch Doctor." The symbol dates back to 2,000 year old stone carvings, and tobacco traditionally played a pivotal role in ceremonial and medicinal practices.

An extension of the original Nica Rustica line, the Connecticut Shade version honors the peaceful mountains of Estelí, Nicaragua. As a blend, the Nica Rustica Connecticut Shade trades the original's Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper for one of Connecticut Shadegrown leaf, complemented by a Mexican binder and fillers from Nicaragua, the United States, and the Dominican Republic. It makes for a mellow yet nuanced smoke with a wealth of flavor.
