With such a prominent name in the pipe world since 1906 when founder Alfred Dunhill designed a windshield pipe to help motorists puff while they smoke (Dunhill was in the accessories market for early motorists and carriage industries). He branched into the market of making pipes, patenting new ideas and techniques, and eventually running a tobacco shop at 31a Duke Street in London in 1907. As a natural supplement to pipes, he blended tobaccos and was a marketing genius. Naturally, the company was desirable all over the world, yet it wasn't until 1982 that they had their own brand of cigars made in Cuba. Today, Dunhill cigars are made in the Dominican Republic.
