About This Cigar
Eladio Diaz has been working with tobacco since he was six years old, and is a respected figure in the cigar industry. Rising to a position of prominence during his 35-year career with Davidoff, Diaz was one of the brand's most trusted blenders, additionally overseeing production and quality control for one of their factories. In 2021, Diaz struck out on his own, founding an eponymous cigar brand and establishing a factory in the Dominican Republic, all to be run by him and his family. Diaz's decades of experience blending and his rigorous quality standards culminate in a portfolio that's as flavorful as it is elegant and innovative: all without sacrificing consistency.
La Diana is Eladio Diaz's second regular production cigar, and it's considered by Eladio to be the brand's strongest, most complex smoke. Named in honor of the nickname given to the first factory where Diaz worked, the moniker itself the name of the owner's granddaughter, La Diana features an elaborate filler blend of Dominican Corojo, Criollo 98, and Negrito, joined by Peruvian Pelo de Oro. These fillers are covered by a Mexican San Andrés binder and topped with an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, cultivating a flavor profile that's sweet, creamy, and spicy, concealing a stout core waiting to be discovered.
