About This Cigar
Founded in 2011 by Reinier Lorenzo, HVC (Havana City) Cigars pay homage to his home town in Cuba. Lorenzo learned from master rollers and blenders before launching his own company, his focus now is to create blends with Nicaraguan tobacco that fit the Cuban-style. Utilizing finely aged tobaccos, he has created many small-batch releases over the years.
La Decoración is the revival of a 19th-century Cuban brand as a new regular production line out of Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A.in Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend showcases an Ecuadorian 2000 wrapper overtop of tobaccos from the Estelí and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua. The box features a tribute on the inside of the lid to the Catedral Metropolitana de La Habana, which was founded in 1777. Offered in a Churchill, Toro, and Robusto vitola, shown here is the Robusto.
