Joya de Nicaragua was founded in 1968 and has since become the oldest brand of cigars to be produced in Nicaragua, an impressive feat. In 2023, the brand celebrated their 55th anniversary and, in honor of the momentous occasion, released a number of special cigars, including this one: the Cinco de Cinco. A regular release cigar that joins Joya's other anniversary cigars, such as the Quatro Cinco and Cinco Decadas, the Cinco de Cinco is a full-bodied cigar of medium strength that offers a rich flavor profile. Inspired by the myriad private blending records gathered during confidential blending meetings, the Cinco de Cinco is a celebration of tobacco that comprises a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Available in a variety of vitolas, this particular cigar is the Corona Doble size.
