Prometheus Sencillo Cigars

Prometheus was created in 1992 and named after Prometheus from Greek Mythology. Prometheus originated as a lighter company and has since expanded its portfolio to offer accessories for the discerning cigar lover. Now, they expand their offerings with a selection of cigars, including Angelenos, Fuente Aged Selection, and Sencillo, while also serving as the parent company of God of Fire cigars.

Sencillo cigars are inspired by the love of simple pleasures and have two offerings: Platinum and Black. Sencillo Platinum is produced in Danlí, Honduras, while Sencillo Black is made in Estelí, Nicaragua, with both featuring tobaccos from their respective regions. Fuente Aged Selection begins at harvest at Chateau de la Fuente where fresh tobacco is air-cured in barns for over 6 weeks until their leaves turn a rich shade of brown. The cured tobacco is then fermented and then aged for years before the Fuentes consider them ready.

Finally, Angelenos cigars were created to honor the parent city of Prometheus and God of Fire cigars: Los Angeles. Angelenos salute connoisseurs not just in the city of angels, but all around the world. Each cigar is handmade with Ecuadorian wrapper and Dominican filler and binder at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia in Santiago, Dominican Republic. They combine the smoothness and sophistication of the city of angels with a touch of the boldness that made the city what it is today.
