Johnny Tobacconaut was first introduced in 2015 as a limited-edition Nicaraguan puro, featuring three perfecto vitolas and a memorable intergalactic theme. The line would return in several forms over the following years, including an AJ Fernandez-made release in 2021 and a Connecticut-seed version in 2023 that earned the No. 3 spot on Halfwheel's Top 25 of the year. Following the line's 10th anniversary in 2025, Room101 introduced the Johnny Tobacconaut Maduro, produced by Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. and featuring an all-Nicaraguan blend wrapped in a dark Maduro leaf. Presented here in the Robusto vitola, this latest expression brings a richer, darker take on the beloved Johnny Tobacconaut line.
