When friends and co-workers JR Cannon and Lee Marsh committed to establishing a cigar company together, the decision initiated a years-long process of sampling tobacco, prototyping blends, forming partnerships, developing a brand, and navigating all the other minutiae and red tape that accompany such an endeavor. They didn't expect, however, to meet resistance from those already in the cigar industry, but the duo leveraged that pushback into defining their cigar brand's identity.
