So many aromatics are in one way or another disappointing, but this one is an absolute beauty! The taste is subtle but present, in no way overpowering of the flavor of the tobacco. It starts pleasant with no bite and stays that way throughout the entire bowl. Dryed this one side by side on a plate with the chocolate Mousse for literally 26 hours. Very nice, slight coconut taste. Not bad at all. Glad to have tried it.

So there's just a hint of chocolate as an under note. But not enough to be like oh yeah that's chocolate. Almost like a hot chocolate where you put way too much water in it and not enough powder and you should have used milk instead. When I first got into pipe smoking three years ago, I wasn't entirely sold on it as a hobby. Coming from the cigar world, and starting pipe smoking with Captain Black Cherry and some standard cavendish blends, I wasn't convinced pipe smoking was really worth the extra effort. Then, a buddy of mine let me try some of this blend after I commented on it smelling very good. Once I tried a bowl of this Chocolate Truffle, I knew there was much more to pipe tobacco than I had originally thought, and I was missing out big time. I bought a pound during the free canister promotion. Look. It’s a fine smoke, but I was actually looking for a chocolate aromatic. This had zero chocolate flavor. None. 2 years later and I'm still smoking this .. the first tobacco I ever smoked..still holding 3oz....this is by far the smoothest chocolate flavor in any other blend I've tried...very slow burning,no bite,or tingle..just thick creamy sweet VA/Burley taste that isn't any way overpowerd by the choc.. almond topping/casing..still has perfect moisture from being tightly sealed all this time...low nic..but just noticeable...definitely recommended...Read More
