Nice tin aroma, a little dry in the tin for my tastes. Hints of vanilla and perique, really not much flavor unless you count the middle of the bowl harshness I get from some C&D blends. Can burn hot but but doesn't bite.

An interesting Cross-over blend.

This is an interesting VA/Per/Aromatic cross-over blend because of it's minimal use of Cavendish and flavorings. The tin aroma is fairly neutral, with a delicate whiff of sweetness. It comes from the tin with the perfect moistness, and lit easily. The balance of Virginia to Aromatic is maybe 80/10 with 10% or less Perique. I can definitely taste the spice of Perique with a retro-hale. The taste is pleasant, and will not put off fans of VA or VA/Per blends. A nice change of pace treat for the well rounded pipe smoker.
