The Magical Forest

I’m on my third bowl of this outstanding creation and boy oh boy it’s exceeding my expectations ten fold!
I have it paired with a pipe that is making this shine bright, and is honestly taking me out of reality into the magical forest amongst the tall pines and spruces with the trickling brook up ahead. Off in the other direction the breeze is sending the glorious whiffs of baking and spices from the little stone cottage over yonder while the old man that resides there has a fresh harvest hanging in the smokehouse out back with the smoke seeping out through each gap. I like this place, I will visit it frequently.

Update: 5 bowls in and this is easily a top 2, possibly my #1 favourite out of approx 30 blends I’ve tried. I’d be ok if this was all I could smoke for the rest of my time. I’ve sourced 2 more tins to add to the cellar!...Read More

Tin was kept in a room at a consistent 80°F. Not optimal but the only option I had. The tin had a slight but noticeable bulge. No hiss when I cracked it. The smell was lighter than the fresh tin I opened last year. The spiced oatmeal made over a campfire smell that I remember has mellowed and the Smokey is nearly gone a sweat raisin bread is now at the front of my nose. Reminds me of walking into a panederia with fresh baked Pan Dulce. The flakes are shimmery with sugar crystals, no mold or furry growths just sparkly, sugar goodness to behold. Gonna head to my local store, get a big chocolate concha/turtle shell, brew some strong dark coffee and enjoy a bowl today. Hopefully this will come out this December, gonna buy my limit....Read More

I have smoked almost an entire can of this now. There is a subtle sweetness at first light; however, the Perique and Kentucky take over from there and it's a well-balanced spicy smoke from there with a good smokiness. The taste is light to the tongue though and not overbearing. A perfect blend for an everyday smoke. I smoke Englishes and other non-aromatics mostly and this is one of my favorites.
