First, Druc's Kings Fool is an excellent deep rich English smoke. Flavor, tin note, first mid and near end of the bowl smoking attributes- this hits all the marks for me. I have a couple tins of Penzance aged nicely, and kings fools comes in darn close to matching the deep spicy smokey flavors, and after taste! I have been smoking Quiet Nights to sub Penzance, but I think I just found a new sub in Kings Fool. I recommend this!...Read More

The brights are prominent, with the first half of the bowl being a light hay and grass flavors dominating with nutty n spicy undertones.
I'd hardly call this an english-
It's more of a virgina/burley blend.
Half way through the bowl, it begins to become more nutty, sweeter, and the light hay, grassy flavor is much more pronounced-

I purchased this based on reviews on this site and elsewhere. It comes as a nice broken flake. The smell in the can is rich, smokey and hints of BBQ. I let it dry breifly before smoking.

The smoke is rich and creamy with that Latakia spice at just the right level. This is a winner, I purchased more to cellar and look forward to trying more Dracquer & Sons blends...Read More
