The tin I received had 2 years of age on it already. I opened it and right away it smelled amazing. You have to take your time with it when smoking. At times it tasted great then it went bland almost. Room note was nice though.
Ooh that smell!

Upon opening the tin you get that "whoosh", that air-tight sound gasping for air. That smell, ooh that smell...vanilla and honey. Neither wet or gooey, nice individual strands of tobacco, dropping them in your bowl one at a time. Leave er l... Read More

This is what a tobacco is supposed to be .This is an aromatic, but it does not share the "lolly-pop" appeal of so many others. This is an all day smoke that minimizes the chances of objection from the non-smoking community due to it's plea... Read More
sant, dare I say, favorable room note. This tobacco is a subtley demure yet playfully articulate little blend that's sure to be enjoyed by all serious pipe smokers. There are others in this line that I care not to comment on, but this gets high marks from me. Dennis Read Less

Tin note of vanilla and sweet spices. Tobacco is a ribbon cut of mostly black with a little brown and even smaller amount of tan. Moisture content is great. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is mild and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild, with... Read More
notes of Honey and Vanilla. Honey died after initial light. Vanilla was fairly prominent in the first 1/4 before settling in the background. Taste is mild and moderately consistent, with notes of honey, vanilla, brown sugar, fermented sour vegetation, wood, toast, grass, creamy, spices, floral, dry earth, bitter, a semi-sweet nutty dry hay background note, and a smooth retro. Cavendish is leading with Burley, Virginia and Flavoring supporting. Room note is pleasant, and aftertaste is good. Read Less
A royal success

Tin was a year old when smoked. Very similar to 7 seas royal blend. Possibly a bit more fruity and not so heavy on the vanilla. Very clean with a polished finish. The tobacco was present but very light... the aro leads and its consistent to the end.
Quite alright.

It's an alright mild aromatic, Mostly vanilla but hints of another sweetness linger in the background, but it doesn't taste like a typical virginia sweetness, it's definitely an introduced sweetness.

This is a balanced blend of Burlys, Virginias, and black cavendish. I am not a big fan of Burlys. But this is one in my rotation now. When you pop the tin open you get a vanilla honey smell. It is a bit sticky too. I was surprised at how well this sm... Read More

Not as good as his other offerings

Beautiful aroma of honey and vanilla. However, the tobacco was wetter than November, and when smoked had zero flavour, a great disappointment for me as the first and third offerings in this series are a 5/5 smokers delight.
