Great Tin Note
October 02, 2024
Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
When I first popped the tin, it was almost like a mild version of Devil's Holiday, with less sweetness and less fruit. Upon smoking the bowl, it's a fairly decent daily type smoker, nothing that's going to wow you, but there's also nothing wrong with it if you can pick it up for the right price....Read More
Smells Nice
May 13, 2024
Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
Smooth and mild, the blackberry flavoring is very faint and only at all noticeable at the very tiniest sips. Even then, it's like a Bigelow tea - all fragrance and no flavor at all. Burns well, smooth, and pleasant, but a tiny bit disappointing.
good to go.

Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
Tin note of berries, vanilla and sugar. Tobacco is a mix cut of tan, dark brown, black and light brown. Moisture content is great. Burns slow with a few relights. The strength is mild to medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild, with notes of Vanilla and Blackberry. Vanilla and blackberry drop to the background during the first 1/4, Blackberry hangs around a little longer than the vanilla. Taste is mild to medium and moderately consistent, with notes of vanilla, sugar, berries, wood, earthy, hay, peaty vegetation, bitter, toast, spices, floral, molasses, nuts, tart and tangy citrus, mildly savory, orange peel/zest, acidic, a lemon grassy background note, and a peppery retro. Virginia is leading with Flavoring, Burley and Cavendish supporting. Room note is pleasant to tolerable, and aftertaste is good....Read More

My go to tin. I’m trying everything so far I love it. Still experimenting, so much to choose. I’m a new pipe smoker. Enough said. Be back for more.
Crowd pleaser!

Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
Superbly balanced aromatic. Not overly sweet tasting, but it is sweet! And the aroma is a 100% crowd pleaser. I was smoking this on a non-smoking jobsite, turned around and the super-intendadant had snuck up in me to catch me red handed. I though I was in deep trouble and he LOVED THE SMELL. Wants me to bring a pipefull everyday and smoke It in the morning while he's conducting the monkeys. Update: this is fighting with Davidoff red mixture for the #1 aromatic in my rotation of baccy. Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
I wasn't sure about this when I ordered but it is a mild to mellow smoke with a nice but not overpowering room note. I was surprised by the complexity of the taste. It will be in my rotation form now on.
Quality smoke.

Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
Updated review** Previously I didn’t really enjoy this tobacco, don’t know if it was the pipe I smoked it out of, the mood I was in, or maybe it needed to age a bit, but I came back to it on a whim and now I’m enjoying the hell out of this. Bringing this up from 3.5 to 4.0 stars.

Product: Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation 1982 Centennial Blend 1.4oz
This is an excellent aromatic. The tin note of blackberry and vanilla translates very well into the taste of the smoke. It's not overpowering or cloying; just an excellent smoke. I find it needs little to no drying time.
