About This Pipe Tobacco
A marriage of air-cured leaf and Burley with selected dark Virginia. Hard pressed and aged to produce brown flakes with rich, dark undertones. A traditional flake favored by experienced pipe smokers.

Broke out some 2005 outa mylar today. One of the top 5 smokes in 40 years of pipe smoking. Gonna have to muster some discipline to keep from smoking this up too fast. Bravo Germains!

The smell from the bag is that of dried fruit and a hint of chocolate. Flavor wise this reminds me a darker c&d briar fox. The flavors of dried fruit sweetness, hay and unsweetened chocolate. Deserving of the hype of being a great va/bur. All and all very enjoyable.
