The long ribbon of tobacco is firm and I just ripped off some and loaded a bowl.
Semi-sweet and quite savory.
Good burn, minimal relights.
Flavor was good during the entire bowl.
Power level is two ticks under medium.
There may be a casing but all I noticed was a dried fruit and Smokey pepper in the nose.
This was an impulse buy and one of the rare times I got something good.
Recommend to some Enthusiasts and all newcomers looking for full taste over full power...Read More

Reading the description with Virginia's Perique and Kentucky I knew I would like the blend. When I opened the tin I could tell this would be right up my alley dark fruit notes and just a touch of the bbq vinegar note that I enjoy. The moisture in my tin was perfect and the flakes rubbed out really easily. Smokes really well with a good amount of sweetness and just enough spice to keep your attention without melting your face. My favorite ingredients in tobacco blend. They do not always play well together and tasty, but in this mixture I can confidently say that they succeeded. I wonder only one why I did not pay attention to this tobacco earlier. This tobacco does not allow fast playing, only slow decay and then the whole bouquet of tobaccos is revealed. Tin note ripe plums, ketchup and vinegar. Tobacco flakes are brown and black and semi dense, cubes nicely and/or rubs out easily. Tobacco needs no drying and burns nicely and slow with average amount of relights. The strength is mild-med and nic is mild-med, both getting stronger toward the end. No flavoring detected. Taste is med, beginning with raisin, bread, lemon, mild sweet grass and pepper and later developing some Foral notes. Virginias led, with perique supporting and Kentucky lounging in the back just hanging out. Room note is non offensive, and aftertaste was good....Read More
