About This Pipe Tobacco

Aftensmad is the first limited-edition release in the Per Jensen Legacy Collection, a series created in tribute to Per Jensen's father, Georg Jensen, a Danish Navy veteran whose legacy continues to influence the pipe community. Inspired by one of four menu cards Georg kept from his time aboard the Danish royal ship Dannebrog in 1929, Aftensmad, Danish for "dinner" or "supper," celebrates the evening meal as a satisfying final course to the day.

Developed by Per Jensen and Cornell & Diehl's Jeremy Reeves, the blend layers Red Virginias, Dark-Fried Burley, Turkish, and Cavendish, pressed and sliced into flakes. Each component is designed to function like a course on a fixed menu, creating a rich, balanced tobacco intended to be enjoyed after a satisfying meal.

(I haven’t tried this, but after seeing a few reviews, I doubt my rating will change after I receive my order. I will update if it does.) I appreciate you guys giving this a 5 tin limit so most people can get it. 2 hours in and it’s still available. Also thanks for bringing Per Georg Jensen onboard for these amazing blends you’re making in the Legacy Collection. I’m glad we can still get new blends from Per after all the BS that happened with Sutliff and Mac Baren. Hope everyone enjoys Per and Jeremy’s blends as much as I am! Cheers...Read More

I agree with Jason B! It is very awesome to see limits on new releases. Gives every one a chance to grab a few tins. Especially for the people that are at work during release!
