About This Pipe Tobacco
Toscano Maestro is a collaborative brand of pipe tobaccos years in the making. Manufactured by Cornell & Diehl, these blends were developed by Jeremy Reeves along with Manifatture Sigaro Toscano's master blender to capture the experience of Toscano cigars for pipe smokers. Maestro's blends draw inspiration from musical composition, underlining the harmony and synergy of the world's finest tobacco components — particularly the nuance and natural complexity of fire-cured leaf.
Made in Italy from fermented American and Italian Dark-Fired Kentucky tobaccos, Toscano cigars are referred to as dry cigars or "cheroots." Toscanos possess a distinct, robust flavor that is favored by countless cigars smokers, and now pipe smokers can enjoy the famous boldness of Toscano cigars as well in pipe tobacco form. Toscano's Maestro Puccini is the first limited-edition blend in the Toscano portfolio, honoring famed Tuscan composer Giacomo Puccini. Puccini showcases Toscano's signature bold and spicy flavor, a flake-cut blend combining the finest Kentucky leaf from both the United States and Italy with the signature spice, pepper, and woody characteristics that define Toscano's legendary cigars.
Customer Reviews
Please, please, PLEASE C&D. I beg you. Make this a regular production. I want this as my nighttime smoke every day....Read More
But would be enjoyers beware — the Maestro packs one hell of a punch. The Vitamin “N” on this blend is the highest I’ve ever had. Equal to or within range of rustica leaf. It’s not awful if you’re used to high test strength but it’s more than noticeable. For that reason alone I would not recommend this blend to new or inexperienced smokers. I would recommend it to those of us familiar with strong blends to enjoy after a beautiful and filling meal with a nice beverage.
And you’d be wise to enjoy it slowly and appreciate all of the notes and nuances as you go along. It’s easily a 5-star blend to me and one I would be happy if it made it into regular production....Read More
