About This Pipe
This Gold grade Duck Foot, from Danish master Peter Heding, begins with a front panel, and a grain pattern that has a ton of commonality with the elephant's foot but, from there, pretty much all similarities end. The shaping of the back of the bowl is bulging, roundly voluptuous, and the birdseye on the sides feather to explode into a birdseye on the front and back of the bowl. The gorgeous boxwood inlay of the sinfully thin bit is a great finish.
